Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Get answers to all your questions about scheduling and confirming your ADR Virtual Mediation.
How do I schedule a mediation?
You can schedule a mediation in three easy steps. Go to the home page at www.adrondemand.com. Click on “Get Started.” Fill out the form. That’s it! You’ll then receive an email confirming that you have scheduled the mediation. (Check your spam or junk folder for the email if you don’t receive the email right away.)
What do I do if the information I entered is incorrect?
Please contact us at email@example.com and we will be happy to make any corrections for you.
How will the other party know I scheduled the mediation?
Once you’ve scheduled the mediation, we’ll send the other party an email asking that he or she complete the booking process. Once the other party submits the form through the link provided in the email, the mediation will be confirmed.
How do I know if the other side has completed the booking process?
Once the other side completes the booking process, you will receive an email that the mediation has been confirmed. Your mediator will then contact you within 48 hours.
How do I know if my mediation is confirmed?
Once your mediation is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email. Please be sure to check your spam or junk folder for the email.
Are any dates unavailable?
You may schedule mediations Monday-Friday, excluding holidays.
Are there any administrative fees?
There are no administrative fees or “hidden” fees of any kind.
How long is the mediation?
The mediation may last up to three hours.
What happens if my mediation goes past the allotted time?
Our mediators are skilled in resolving your case within the allotted time. However, should your mediation appear to need more time, the parties may agree to continue for an additional three-hour block. At that time, your mediator will send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and the participating parties to confirm that everyone has agreed to continue for an additional three hours and to pay an additional $750 per billable party for the additional time.
How do I select a mediator?
You simply select the date, time, and type of case. We assign the mediator to you based on that information.
What if I want to choose a specific mediator?
Our platform does not allow you to select a specific mediator; we assign your mediator based on the type of case and date and time you request. If you want a specific mediator, we suggest booking a mediation through Miles Mediation & Arbitration, which allows you to choose your mediator.
How do I know if the mediator on my case is qualified?
All our mediators have been vetted and approved by Miles Mediation & Arbitration (www.milesmediation.com). They also are experts in their fields and have years of experience mediating cases. In addition, the parties rate our mediators after every mediation, and only those with the highest ratings remain on our panel.
Who are the mediators on the panel?
Hon. Bianca Motley Broom
Hon. Jason Harper
John McCorvey, Jr.
Hon. Larry Mims
Hon. Tabitha Ponder
